Prevention Tips
Getting the flu vaccine is a great way to prevent the flu and it is recommended for anyone over the age of 6 months.
Help prevent the spread of the seasonal flu and protect yourself, as well as your family by:- Avoid touching your eyes, nose or mouth
- Covering your coughs and sneezes with your sleeve or tissue;
- Washing your hands often. Carry hand sanitizer with you and use it when you are not able to wash your hands; and
- Staying home if you are sick.
The Flu vaccine is available at the Public Health located at 820 Scenic Drive in Modesto. No appointments are necessary and the hours are:
- Tuesday and Thursday 10 am - 6:30 pm
- Wednesday and Friday 8 am - 4 pm
